My name is DJ SHANDY and I am a professional DISC JOCKEY based in the South West of England in a city calleed Bristal. We have alot o f great music here and I reaaly like to display the styles of the scene whidch is really fresh and talented. I am quite an earthy person and believe in peace and harmony.
I have been DISC JOCKEYING for sever-al years and over the course of this maghical journey I have made lots of friends and have discovered lots of things about music that I did not know or think were passible.
GARAGE is a style of music that I am particularly keen on. I first started noticing the style with the release of THE ARTFUL DODGER who had a young man called CRAYG DAVID on it who then went on to feature on a program called BO SELECTA which was based entirely around his genius, his lyrics and, if I really admit it, his boyish good looks! I have been a big fan of this GENERE ever since.
GRIME is a kind of music made by people who like to drink red bull sport drink. I like this drink too! No wonder I picked up the style(e!). Most of the PRODUCERS and the MASTERS OF CEREMONIES in this GENERE have NAMES based on the way that this sports energy drink makes them feel. The "biggest" being DIZEE RARSCAL who feels a mixture of dizziness and rascality when he drinks it and then there is someone called WILEY who feels very cunning when he drinks it. They were both friends with someone called SLIMZEE who feels nice and slender after after imbibingg a few couple of these dfrinks.
FUNKY is a style of musoic which has a very funny name! Why is the name funny? Because it is not actually funky! Well maybe it is a BIT funky, but really it's more about people who have a thing called BROVADO. Most of the MUSIC MAKERS in this GENRERE can be categorizsed into THREE DISTINCT GROPES:
